Negotiating For Results

Negotiation is a process of communication, understanding, listening and questioning so that all parties can reach a working agreement on differing needs, interests and positions. In collaborative negotiation, this process is moved toward a level of interdependency between parties. In other words, each party works to identify the problem from everyone’s viewpoint, learns the perspectives of each party, generate solutions, and reaches agreement on the solution that best fits everyone’s agenda.
